Front driveshaft from tj?

Engine: 4.0L
Will this work? It seems a bit longer, so that may help with us LP guys, it came out of an 05 tj with a 2.4L manual trans, it would go in my 01' xj with a 4.0L auto with a 4.5" lift, both are np231 t cases.
