I have a 2000 cherokee and want to buy a 3 inch lift and was thinking about 1.5 inch spacers because I'm staying with the stock wheels. Is there any downfall to getting spacers?

 

I'm assuming your talking about wheel spacers not coil spacers. For wheel spacers its a toss up. Some say no some say yes. I would not run spacers because I have seen the studs break and the wheel fall off. Happened to my buddy's xj. And honestly for the same price you can get some soft 8's or other cheap steel wheels.

 

Yeah, I wouldn't run wheel spacers either. That's for street rigs only imo. I've seen then snap studs as well.

I run a 3'' lift with 2'' spidertrex wheel spacers and soft 8's ,nice stance and never had any problems (built in studs )
