Alright, and I've heard that 99 was a transition year for hubs and rotors and stuff. I was wondering if ya'll could tell what kind I had also, if these grooves in the brake slides were a problem

It appears you have the earlier hubs like myself. Ask for 98 unit bearings when you go in. Please wait for a second opinion as I'm not an expert but that's what it looks like to me.

I'm pretty positive that it was said in this thread to google the differences. I just did and it popped right up. You need to measure the outer lip and go from there to determine if you are the early style hub.

The earlier one is 12 mm or about half an inch the later one is 17 mm.

Mine is under half an inch. Right about 3/8. So the earlier one? And so I should have composite rotors? Or cast?

Just think 98 when you do brake parts. It's much easier to keep straight. I can't remember which is cast and which is composite.

It's overall rotor height that matters.
