Quote: Nope. Get spicers because you getting quality. Get spicers and you're done with it for a while. Those other brands can be hit or miss. And those in particular I have no idea about.
Well does anyone know somewhere I could find them local? Because if I can't get them local I'll probably just buy the $10 u joint and swap it out to see if it fixes it so I don't have to wait for the spicers then order the spicer joints. I just can't stand to drive it with this vibration.

Are you saying get the moog joints and call it good or get the moog then get the spicers later on still?

Well I found the joints on Amazon with free 2 day shipping so I pulled the trigger. Should be here Friday.

Very good. It was the non-serviceable 5-760X right...

Quote: You can grease the joint by turning the wheel. No need to disassemble.
Huh I guess I just assumed that there wasn't room to do it and never really looked. Now I feel dumb.

And you should never buy low quality parts just because you can get them locally. Especially something as important as these. So good job for talking yourself into waiting a couple days. Do it right the first time and you'll have a lot less headache.

Start with u joints. Inspect hubs when open

Did you ever end up pulling the wheels off the front to check the front shaft u joints? Or are you just throwing money around hoping it fixes the issue? Before you start buying parts, you need to make sure that the parts are actually bad. Yes, hubs are prone to go out from the stress of bigger tires etc. but you still need to check. Jack up the jeep, throw it on stands with the front tires off and go through everything. Spin the hubs and listen to any sounds it makes. Check the U joints for play. Check your TREs, draglink, Trackbar, pitman arm, balljoints, control arm mounts (upper and lower). Everything. Go through that front end with a fine toothed comb, THEN start dumping money into it. That's just my $0.02 though.

I jacked it up and felt some play in the u joint. Not a ton but enough that I would replace it even if it wasn't the cause of the problem. When spinning it I don't hear any unusual noises coming from the hub like a bad bearing or anything.

Alright so I have the wheel and caliper off and I can slightly jiggle the hub? (The plate the studs are pressed into) so does that mean the hub is bad? And by jiggle I don't mean forward and back I mean side to side. Also ever so slightly up and down. Maybe a couple millimeters.
