Front drive shaft TC crossmember clearance question dilemma help me out pls

From current extension I measured from the center of the u-joints on the shaft, not including the CV I got 30 1/4inches extended and there is about 2 1/4inches of the slip exposed so the close lengthen is 28 closed
Roughly measuring on the vehicle from center of cv joint to axle joint it was 33.5in.
I think the measure ments are off but I pretty sure they replace the RE 1860-285 that was to long with this re 1860-275
