DIY...
I vote you DIY.... I did. If you want to save a LOT of the hassle, start with a kit bumper and build off it. JCR and Dirtbound both offer good starter parts. I went with JCR on mine.
Have to wait until (hopefully) Sunday before I can post installed pics.

Check out landlfabrication.com, and look at his winch bumpers. 250$ shipped to your house and a heck of a lot better approach angle then the Jcr. You can't beat that even if you tried to build it yourself.

thanks for all the help guys. I mean I don't know about y'all but that bumper is sick and so is the Jeep but I'll definitely look into it and check out those sites I have a few friends I know that are pretty decent at welding so hopefully is be able to pull something together.I was really bummed tho because I found the pictures of that Jeep a year or two ago and then forgot how to find it again.is still be interested in finding it again If the owner is on the forum.or one similar... but thanks for the help.I'm really new to the whole diy thing so still the more help the better.I've seen a couple diy kits but yet again don't know much about welding or gauge of metal to use although I know it varies depending onthe owner and purpose..
