FRONT axle help

i have a dana 44 in front and it has a vacuum line coming out the top. i followed it up and its zipped tie to my intake manifold and capped off. is this line for after market use with and ARB locker or what?

Pretty sure that's just a breather tube for the differential

Vent tube for the diff and are you sure you have a 44 front.

If it is stock you have a dana 30 and welcome to CF.

un cap it and. tie it to something that doesn't get hot. Like the other side of the engine away from the exhaust manifold.

my jeep was a used cop car down in texas and that is and was told it had modifications done to it i could be mistaken on if it is a 44 or 30 in front just got the car a few days a go so really not sure
