I have an 88 Cherokee and the front hubs won't lock due to no vacuum pressure at all. I have read the write up on changing it to be locked in all the time my question is I use my jeep for my around town driving would having the front drive shaft spinning all the time do any damage to anything or is it pretty harmless?

 

if you permanently lock it, it will be just like every other 91-01 cherokee. no harm will be done.
