ford escape dual fans?
I already did some looking around and i haven't found any mention of this idea, but i was looking at an uncles escape and noticed the radiator is about the same size as the one in an xj. So i looked around and found the radiator is 28.5x11.5 roughly for a 2011 ford escape 4 cyl. And in a jeep its 31x10.5ish. Dual electric fans, he said they were 2 speed but i cant verify that. Has anyone tried these in an xj? And if they are 2 speed could they be wired to run low as soon as key on and high by thermostat and be enough to keep it cool?

I've heard of taurus fans but i was thinking of this being another option and couldnt find if it'd been done before. When funds allow ill pull some parts from a yard and write it up if i still have the xj by then.

Never seen it done, but it's fun to make stuff work. Just research a bit to make sure the escape fans put out enough CFM to cool the radiator. Sometimes even if stuff fits it might not pull enough air through.
