this is the one i have
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FLOWM...item4cf58cbb47
got it from ebay too - its the cheapest - still get the full warranty and it hasnt let me down yet
you dont have to get them with the dual outlets but i chose to cause i like the look and sound more
they have all the different pipping option, you can keep your stock 2.25 or upgrade to 2.5 or 3 or bigger if you really want to. But personally i would stick with 2.5.
i got the 2.5 in to 2.5 out dual
all i did was by (1) 2.5-2.25 adapter ($15) for the front
then i ran new piping out the back.
if your looking for cost saving you can just get the 2.25 in / 2.25 single out and then it just goes back into your existing exhaust.
even with the adapter it costed me less than 80 for the intial hookup
then i think i spent maybe another 50-75 in 2.5 pipes about a week later, that was a loud week...
of course, this was all done myself, so if you dont have that kind of access and have to go to a shop you will probably get stuck with about 150-200 for new (dual) pipes unless you stuck with your existing size. then it should be like $50 for them to do it

Actually, I find that the 44 is a lot more mellow than the 40.
Still provides a nice sound, either way to me.
Flow master's website, st least the way I read it, explains that the lower in number you get the louder it is.
Get a 10, which basically a legal straight pipe(if you were to cut it open and look st the guts) and you have nothing but off road noise, get a 44 and you can still talk while driving on the highway.

Oh, and you can always check out youtube, they have plenty of videos with jeep 4.0l with both the 40 & 44s.
Thats how I made my initial decision, everyone I talked to that had the 40, said they wished it wasnt so loud or they already switched to a 44.
