After market valves?
I have a 96 XJ and I'm building a stroker.I'm also doing a port and polish on my head (casting #0630). I'm upgrading all components of the head but can't find any after market valves. I'm looking for a one piece valve and the only ones I have found is Mopar Performance and there $25 a piece. I really don't want to spend that much. I've heard using chevy 350 valves but you'll have to make the valve guide from 8mm to 11/32. Any help is greatly appreciated.
One more thing. I was going to use roller rockers from a Chevy 350 all I had to do was go from 5/16 to 3/8 but none of the holes were centered on the blocks so I have to get the more expensive one for the 4.0. Not the end of the world but does anyone know why they did that?
