Default Flat Fender Flares on a Stock Jeep

I know this had to be done before, but I've looked around online and through out the forum and cant find any pictures of it. I'm looking into putting te Bushwacker flat flares on my 94' XJ, looking for pictures of stock - 2 inch lifted XJ's with flat flares. Thank you

You're gonna put bigger tires and stick them out more?

I think it might look funny with those flares and small tires no? Don't you gotta cut the fenders for those flares and they are wide. Or do I have the wrong flares in mind?

See, I personally feel the xj's visually have a smaller looking fender well, but yes, you are correct, you do need to cut like a inch or so. If i could find a set of flat fenders that i didn't have to cut.. then I'd get those.. I enjoy the look of a flat flare.. But I'll be running 235/75/15 on a rally wheel.. kinda why i wanted to see some pictures

This is my 94 Jeep, I have a 4.5 Rubicon Lift and 32" tires. I installed the bushwacker Flat Flares.

I'll try and hunt it down, but someone on here installed Bushwacker flat flares and 31's on a stock height XJ. Looked pretty good.

Personally, I think 30's would look too small. Let me see if I can hunt that build down and I'll edit this post.

EDIT: Here it is... https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/pr...chioba-168224/ Not a lot of pictures, but page 12 has the best ones. Stock height, flat flares, 31's, and wheels with 3.75" backspacing (pretty sure).

This is as close as I can get. 31s and 1.5" lift.

Like what Cherokee? 5-Speeds? If so, that's a solid setup. Great for daily driving, and quite a bit more capable than most would expect.

If he is talking about mine, one thing I would like to add is wheel back spacing. While my XJ was still 2wd when I had the 1.5" lift on it, I still took it wheelin. My 3.75" BS wheels rubbed the flares front and rear. If I had 4.25" BS wheels, they would have cleared. Now with my new lift, it is bump stopped so the tires cant go up that far and rub.

Agreed, bumpstopping is key on a small lift with bigger tires.
