Default 3 inch Lift Help

Hey guys,
I am looking for a solid lift for my 2000 Jeep XJ Sport. I currently have 31 in Cooper STT's, and I would like to keep that same size tire, along with the stock gearing. I am looking for a 3 inch lift, with hopes I do not have to to SYE, as the previous owner already had the jeep lifted when I bought it, but with poor components. I have a thrown together pro's and con's list for each company, but I would like some more advice. I hear poor reviews on Rough Country, however I have not actually used any of their components. I like the Rusty's kit, however shipping is a killing, and it seems like they have sorted out the quality control problems I had read about earlier. The zone lift seems good also, but when I compare it to Rusty's it seems I would get a better deal with the Rusty's kit. I would like a kit with the full rear leaf springs also. My jeep is primarily a hunting rig, it see's light offroad use. I also have plans for front and rear bumpers, with the possibility of a swing out carrier on the back. Do you guys have any other reccomendations, as my mind is boggled the more I read. Thanks!

Rusty's 3" advanced with adj U/L control arms. I added Iron Rock Offroad adjustable boomerang shackles to compensate for the added weight of the Rock Hard 4x4 rear tire carrier bumper I put on. Very happy with the quality and performance of all these products.

Rusty's will tell you a SYE is not required, but most people here will tell you to install one. I agree, and installed a new Tom Woods driveshaft while I was at it, though an XJ front driveshaft will work perfectly in the rear with a SYE.

Old Man Emu.

That's what I would do if I went back. Used it for my dad's XJ and its a lot better than the Rustys kit on mine.

Working on upgrading the front to long arm (CavFab) and I think I will eventually change out the rear leafs to OME.

I was going to go with Rustys until I saw the shipping cost so I decided to go with the 3" Trailmaster. I have only put about 1000 miles on it so far but I am happy with it.

X3 or whatever on rustys. I've been very happy with mine, I have the 3 inch advanced in one of my jeeps and went with their 4.5 advanced on the other jeep

Any opinions on the SuperLift Suspension 4" kit with shocks? Includes a transfer case drop.

Metal Cloak. If I started with a clean slate that's my first choice for short arm setup.

I had a 3" Zone lift with full leaf replacements on my first XJ. It was a fairly rough ride but I also lived in the midwest with horrible roads. I would buy the Zone kit again if I was in the market for a budget friendly lift with overall good quality.

For the shipping cost of the Rustys kit you could get an slip yoke eliminator so you won't have any vibrations.

The shipping for rustys is bit pricey, but it's a good product. If I were the op though I would go with zone and call it a day. My work used to deal with trailmaster but we ended that once their quality control and customer service went down the tubes. Even as a company who carried their products it was hard to deal with them. This was a few years back but still.

Well, right now I am stuck between the Rusty's and the zone. My main goal was to keep it under 1 grand, and I would like to stick to it the best I can. I think I am leaning towards Rusty's, and I will bite the bullet for shipping. I was told they have a military discount, so that should help a bit.

Another recommendation for OME here as well. 5 years now and mine are still great and no sagging.
