Default flare opinions

Okay i need some input... need to get flares to get legal. But i cant decide who to go with.

Bushwacker- big name, has warranty but everyone and their mother has them. Not to mention the pricetag!

Napier Precision Products- Up and comer, has a warranty as well but has the same look as BushWacker. And there only about $80.00 cheaper. And i know their not as wide 3.25 inchs wide.. not sure about coverage.

Rustys Offroad- pop riveted and a different design that stands out. Has a warranty and about $60.00 cheaper then Napier $140.00 cheaper then BushWacker.

E-Bay- BushWacker style flares for $180.00 but theres no feedback on the products durability and not sure if they're measured right because they're knock offs from poland or china...

So if you have these can i get your experiences, like how much you can trim on your fenders, ease of installation, durability and what not. Thanks...

Look up glassworks or http://sdhqoffroad.com/jeepxjfenders.aspx for some nice fiberglass flares. Depending on what you want to wheel these look great

Not looking for a whole fender, the idea is great just not all fiberglass.

I'm in the same boat as you... Local PD has been hating on my stance.

I wanted to go with the bw flat flares.. But I'm told they won't work with my fenders already trimmed?

Personally if I go with the "pocket" style look I'm getting the napiers. Better price, good reviews and I like the fact that they only come out 3.25. The bushwackers overpower the tire most of the time and just look out of place and silly.

I haven't seen the rustys flares I'm gonna check em out

I see O.C. cops haven't changed...lol. I don't get messed with at all. thank God and we are only 30-45 mins apart...lol.

BW are just too damn big. Imo, they take sooomuch away from the lines of the xj. I see guys with them around here with them with stock offset rims and i laugh my a$$ off.

Op. you don't have alot of choices here. so just pick the ones you like. I would do the napiers just to save some money. and i've heard good about them.

I love the flat flares too, but like NJXJ609 i can't use them either.
GL.

I was leaning towards rustys, but who on here has them? How are they holding up, how do you like them?

I have napiers on my XJ, Love them.

They are very tough and flexible, I'm not worried about hurting them. Seen and heard of Way too many bushwackers cracking.
