Okay, so before you start cracking jokes about my new monster 2" Budget boost, realize thats right where I want it.
Just installed a 2" BB with spacers and new shackles.
Jeep looks great, perfect height for me.
Some issues have come up now, having some vibrations kick in at about 30mph. Pretty sure it is driveline angles, so I got a T-Case drop kit, which will hopefully solve that issue. I know it is not u-joints, as those are brand new.
The other issue is that there is a bunch of "creaking" coming from what sounds like the shackles in the back. I cant tell if it is where the shackle is bolted to the frame or where the shackle is bolted to the leaf spring, or both, when I am moving at slow speeds.
The shackles are greaseable, but I did not check whether they come pre-greased. I know, I know.
Is this simply something that can be fixed by going over everything and lubing all of the bushings, or is this something that I will just have to deal with because of having longer shackles?
THanks

So I got under there last night to grease the shackles, and realized the creaking was coming from the leaf springs not the shackles.
I replaced the leaf springs about 6 months ago with OEM style springs. They are still like new, and never made this noise before. I checked all of the bolts, except for the u-bolts. Would spraying them down with a lubricant help?, getting new ubolts?
The new shackles sit at about a 90 degree angle from the leaf, which I cant change unless I relocate the shackle.
