If I could do over, I'd get real (Steel) flat fender flares instead of the BW flat fenders I installed. You can usually pick some up on the FS forum here cheaper than a vendor..

Good luck. I am happy with the BW flares though, worth the cash if you need/want the look.

I don't really think you'll find "real steel" flares any cheaper than BW. Have a local fab shop build some for you.

Had a friend back in high school do this, call up your local shops and price it out. He ended up saving quite a bit over the BW flares.

I'll gladly buy them from you so you can build some steel ones.

I have seen the BW flat flares as cheap as $350 on Amazon w/ prime shipping. Keep an eye out and they might drop that low again.

The rustys ones are more of a cut out style he wants a flat style,The rustys ones are cheaper but look like a pain to drill all the holes and pop rivet them on.

My son and I installed them in about 2 hrs on my 99. The front wells were trimmed before I installed them. I had several rivet drills that I used on my race cars, using them with 4 temp rivet clamps to hold the flair in place all I had to do was drill all the holes. With that done I riveted all places drilled removed all the clamps and riveted them. It really is an easy job plus I ran over to my buddy's Dirt Track Race shop and borrowed his air powered rivet gun. I'm old and putting in very many rivets really bother my hands.

I think about half the time I was BS'ing my son and grandson instead of us working. They were really not bad to install and on a 1-10 scale of being difficult a 10 the hardest they would be a 2 or 3.

I just installed my BW flat flares on my 01 Sport and they look amazing. When I first started looking around a few months ago BushWacker seemed way out of my price range, but I shopped around and ended up finding a set on sale for $320 with free shipping! Just keep shopping around and you can find a good deal.

Mine were free minus a few bucks for hardware.
