I agree, you can flop at stock ride height but I've decided it might be a little bit more of a task for me since I've never bent tube and my welds could use some work, in no way is safety a waste but if I were to go out and build one right now it might not have the quality it needs to even help, bumpers and a roof rack and sliders seem like a much better project, and I'm gonna make tube bumpers and sliders, so that I can tie in a cage as I go, and I will be building a full experience eventually because I plan on going down and running the Rubicon with some of my friends but being a few states away I have to have everything ready and done right since I can't just go home and change something

I've never bent tube until I built my cage, I think it came out pretty nice. My buddy does most of the welding on my projects though.. He could take his welds to the bank.
