oh I know I fixed the problem I had now. I was just letting them know there is an indicator if the valve is stuck one way or the other for some reason.

I have not done the swap with no valve, but I have done it with the original guts and then with the ZJ guts. There is better stopping with the ZJ guts.

Did you install the ZJ PV parts after bleeding the system with the XJ PV parts in place? I installed all the parts in BD's kit before bleeding the system and the bleeder on the PV kept blowing the rubber cap off and squirting fluid.
