Default Driveline help

Hey guys what's up. So I lifted my 99 xj 2 months ago with a rustys 2 inch kit. I left a week after and just got back. I have some vibrations when deacclerating and when at about 70 mph. I'm going to replace the u joints. Recommended brands? Also, would you guys do an sye at 2 inches? It's more like 3.5 but is slowly settling. I will never go any higher so I was thinking of making my own Tcase drop. Not really wanting to go that route though. Thoughts?

It may well be the old u-joints being in a new wear spot, it may just go away but new joints never hurt buy the larger joints when you do. The TC drop kit is easy to make using sq. tube or even washers if needed, you may need new bolts if old ones are to short.

Fred may I ask what u joints your referring to? Any links? Yeah I didn't want to go to a Tcase drop but don't want to go sye for a such a small lift. I'll make a half inch drop and see.

That's what I thought. I appreciate it. The 2 on the front shaft connected to the transfer case are different right?

not 100% sure, but they have been on previous vehicles I've had to replace them on

On the cherokees, tho, I think the front driveshaft joints are all the same size, but the 2 for the cardan joint may be a diff part # since the normal grease zerk can give clearance issues inside the joint

.
