Default Drag link is it different from 86 to 88

Okay so I have a 86 Cherokee long armed and I'm having a problem with the drag link contacting the bottom of the sway bar end link it has quick discos I have a drag link of a 88 Cherokee (not sure if stock or after market) it looks stock though and it sticks out far enough forward that it doesn't contact but the fixed tie rod end is bad so I can't run it so does anyone have any idea as if they changed it or not? Any help is much appreciated, the red one is from the 86 and you can see the bend is not as much as the 88.

I know there is a difference in the tierod length, but i'm unfamiliar with the draglink being bent differently.

For the life of me i cant see why it would be, nothing changed that would require this bend i think.

I would think that perhaps the draglink got bent from wheeling/flexing, and the other you have is undamaged.

Looks to me like rod end to rod end is same length. My guess is that the different bend is due to different manufacturers.

That is what I thought, that it was bent, but it looks like a factory bend like it doesn't look to be bent from wheeling at all it has no scratches on it or anything.

Guys bend their draglink all the time by having a tire against a rock and try turning into it. Does not need to make contact, just the hydraulic pressure from the steering box can bend them.
