Default disc brake swap on 8.25 29 spline

just recently grabbed a chrysler 8.25 29 spline with 4.10 gears off a 99 4cyl xj at the yard. i am looking to do disc brake conversion without breaking the bank. i was told some guys do conversions from a liberty kj or grand cherokee zj? any tips or advice? let me know. i have the axle in storage and im taking my time with it. thnaks

Its an easy coversion i did mine in 3 hours just grab the parts off a grand cherokee it makes breaking 10x easier

i pulled an axle from a zj in a junkyard for $80 bucks with the brakes in about an hour then pulled them off put new pads in the calipers. you need to grind the inside of the backing plate and caliper bracket but thats easy with a die grinder it doesnt need much. i still have the axle to sell but it shouldnt be much more than $50 for the whole swap when i do
