Disc brake conversion, Am I missing something?
I'm about to pull the hole shebang rear brake setup from a 96 GC in the salvage yard. Do I just grab everything off it? Is it better to run the 2004 Liberty rear discs?
What are the issues with the parking cables?

Nugget,
On the GC brakes you will have to grind out the hole in the middle of the backing plate to fit over the axle. On the Liberty brakes it is a straight bolt on, no modifications. When I set mine up I used the longest parking brake cable from the Liberty for the Passengers side and then bought a short cable from Morris 4x4 for the drivers side. I don't haave the part# in front of me but let me know if you need it.

Grab those longer backing plate studs from the donor vehicle also.
And, make sure your lug studs are gonna be long enough if you have aluminum wheels especially.
