Don't take everything so serious ladies
I agree, I don't recall ever seeing it either but I think, as a community, things would go much smoother if we treated each other with respect.

yeah but you gotta have some fun along with all the dense layers of repetitive tech and questions. sometimes it ends up getting misplaced or misinterpreted and that's when problems happen

sweet. yeah it didn't seem unlawful but I'm sure someone would want to gripe about it, in CA at least. I just kept it in there for my own personal interest. wasn't gonna be accurate with the gear ratio/tires anyway.

I understand that it probably gets old seeing the same thing for those of you who have been here for quite a while, but it was new to me and I guess I thought that was what it was about. Because let's face it, there is not much of actual, new stuff being done. From what I can see, its all just variations.

I guess when I saw over 1400 pages of wheel and tires posts, I figured it wouldn't be that bad to post one more about a dashboard. The dashboard is as much tech as putting on a new set of wheels and tires I reckon and it might show someone else that it can be done to their own vehicle who might have never considered it before.

oh yeah of course! don't take any offense by it. your post is very welcomed and isn't one of the daily repeats. it's just funny to me to see one of the older members poke some fun and get a ton of flak for it

FABRICATION would be if he put a custom set of gauges from another vehicle type or aftermarket ones.
Huh, I thought this was in the lines of oem tech as its is a original part(guage cluster) just from another jeep. And mod tech was more for the tachs from other rigs, aftermarket, and lifts and such, and fab was where you do welding and body works and such? Or was I thinking naxja and pirate? Lol

It's all good. OEM TECH is more oriented towards general maintenance, diagnostics and repair. As said his model had "dummy lights" so he swapped/modified his cluster to accept real gauges. Besides, if it really was in the wrong section we would have moved it.

Nice way to shoot a man down. I feel you. It makes you feel good even when the slightest of things are done. Good upgrade, anything is better than idiot lights.

Someone should offer a kit, take dozens of orders then only deliver a couple. Better feedback that way.

a junk yard cluster and a pair of sensors from the parts store? seems a list of part #'s would be more useful

I totally agree. Vendors may let you down, but the junkyard never will.
