updating this thread with fuel mileage results. jeep got consistent 22+ mpg before the injector swap.

1st tank after the swap - ~18.1 mpg

2nd tank after the swap - ~21.7 mpg

I've been doing a lot more driving than usual lately. I even ran the a/c quite a bit on the second tank, which had previously proven to decimate my fuel mileage. not so much now...not sure if the injectors are responsible, but it's a positive effect nonetheless. hoping to see my 22+ next time.

just wanted to share.

So if I have a 1996 I need to get either the ford #19 or neon #22.5?

99 xj, with a cone on it thinking about doing the injectors, what would be best 703's or the 784's the higher number ones? Its a stock 4.0

784's as listed in the chart above. I believe the connector types are different on the older models.

784s are for 99 and up

Check the for sale section I've seen a lot of people selling injectors.

The connector clips on the back wouldn't fit, Jeep wouldn't start, and then you'd post here and ask what was wrong.
