!!!!DEATH WOBBLE/Severe Bump steer
i have death wobble and severe bump steer, at speeds anywhere from 40+ mph. i've heard it could be the tie rods the trac-bar the steering stabilizer, lower control arms, and every thing in between. Now i already have the following parts, just not installed yet; Adjustable lower control arms, steering stabilizer. everything else is factory except for front 3" coils, rear 2" blocks and 2010 rubicon shocks. what else do i need to make my xj safe to drive on the highway?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice,
Matt

Track Bar bushing and ball joints. Then go get your wheels balanced and an alignment. Check your upper control arm bushings too. Tie rod ends are suspect, although not as likely. Biggest suspects are this order:
1. Alignment is off
2. Worn track bar bushing
3. Bad ball joints
Whenever touching any steering or suspension component, you need to get an alignment after to set things right.

Edit: and I mean get it aligned soon, because every time you get death wobble, it puts a TON of stress on everything and will cause everything in the steering and suspension to ware down unnecessarily fast

I work at oreillys so I can get all of my steering components for dirt cheap. I was thinking since its 12 years old and has 120k on the clock that I might as well go ahead and change all of the tierods

Xhowevermany on the adjustable track bar. Do the rough country for cheap. I think it was 130 for mine and fixed the problem.

I have the infamous death wobble too. I have replaced my track bar with the rough country one that came with the drop bracket, I have changed my pitman arm, I have went with the dual steering stabilizers instead of only one, I have had my tires balanced, I have changed my ball joints and have had multiple alignments and none of it has helped. So it could be many things, each jeep is different!
