Dana 60 disc brake convo
Sooooo doing my disc brake conversion on the dana 60 and i want a parking brake, so thats a no for the chevy caliper. I know supposedly the Caddy El Dorado (78 I think) will fit the d60 custom bracket for rotors, i just dont know if I need the front or rear calipers from the El Dorado to fit my brakets...? I would assume that the REAR caliper would be the one with the parking brake mechanism, but hey, i dont know jack squat about no Caddy!

I use a line lock on the rear of mine. Just hold the pedal and flip a switch and you're good to go. I think I've only used it maybe twice. Park seems to work fine and I don't park on hills.

Google is your best friend. It's what some drag racers use to do burnouts so they can lock the front wheels and not the rear. It's a device you put inline front, rear, both or on just one wheel, whatever you want. Some have a ****, some a toggle switch (mine does) or lever and you push on the brake pedal, engage it and it holds pressure on whatever wheel or wheels it's hooked to. You can get them for less than $50 too.
