Default LCA's hit shock mount

running a 6.5 x flex rc kit lca's hit on axle where the shock mounts has anyone cut out some to make them clear

Just get the control arm drop brackets. They'll clear the mounts and it'll ride better.

you could grind it a little but I would box that in first

drop brackets would work too

are you arms straight or do they have a bend in themmatthat heigth straight arms are alot close than angled ones. if you do the drop bracket adjustable arms should be used to dial the front in

You can cut a good bit off the mount just don't take so much you have shock mount issues.

i just grinded mine til they dont hit. it didnt take much.

X 3. I ground mine til the LCAs quit hitting at full extend. I've been running it like this with no issues for 2 years now. Found out my trackabar was what is limiting my flex. I'm getting the dropped HD trackbar mount from Rusty's so if my LCAs start to hit the shock mounts again, I will just grind off more. Although the drop brackets from Rough Country are a better idea. I've been considering getting a set of them for my Jeep.
