Not to hijack the thread, but check out WNY 4x4 Club in Facebook. We're the largest and most off road active group in the area with a good amount of XJ owners. We've got some people considering Whispering Pines in the next couple weeks, and a group with the Wrangler club going to another park in Savona soon.

There all right there is not enough meat on a 5 lug 44 knuckle to mill them flat for a histeer arm.
Your options are limited to finding 8 lug f250 knuckles which are already flat tops but you have to find everything including the outer stub shaft.
The other option is chevy knuckles but your in the same boat you have to find it all and miss match some stuff.
The reid knuckles are $$$ but by the time you find all the other parts its a wash.
