Dana 44 and 60 swap
I just have a distaste for rocks cuz they are so unforgiving.
Heavy and sink? Obviously you know nothing about mud rigs. Most of the trucks that are purpose built for mud are 2.5 ton trucks and they weigh more than most rock buggies and will flip if you look at them the wrong way. Weight helps traction. Weight helps gets you to the bottom of the mud where the traction is so your Boggers or Rice and Canes can bite and keep you moving.

thats what i have seen and i cant bias my knowledge on much else.
just think of all those fj's you see stuck in the mud (operator error most of the time) but they sink... bad
You know honestly my rig will be for snow mostly I'm from Alaska and commute to the northwest. I'm not to big in to mudding or crawlering but if that's what my jeep is faced with on trail them I wanna know my **** will get over it! I'm really just thinking about putting a 6" rough country with some 33's upgrade stock axles. Air locked front and rear throw a winch on there and call it good.
im not looking to fight but dont insult my intelligence. the best "mudder" i have ever seen is an old samurai that has a tiny little custom engine that cranks about 120hp geared real low. perfect 50/50 weight distribution(with a full tank) spooled rear axle and elock in the front. whipped the ***** out of all the heavier rigs who dug themselves into holes in the mud soo good that to get one out we hooked 6 trucks together to get the traction.

Exactly. 6 trucks (i.e. weight...heavy.. see where I'm going here?) to get the traction. There's a reason purpose built mud trucks are heavy and have a lot of horsepower and torque. They have to recover each others trucks when the bottom gets too soft to get traction. Light trucks aren't going to pull anyone out.
Not looking to fight, I am just amazed at how uninformed and self-contradictory your comments seem to have been.
Ever heard of Trucks Gone Wild? I've been to mud fest. They are all 6500lbs or heavier with the exception of a few buggies that usually get stuck and have to be pulled out by...dun dun dun: heavier trucks with big motors and tires. The rigs that get through anything are all massive, on 44" or taller tires and have Big Blocks with insane horsepower.
Picture monster trucks like Big Foot. Top fuel dragsters that are 10ft high to the floor of the truck on R2s that are taller than Yao Ming. That's what it takes to get through insane mud. You need crazy wheel speed and lots of power and tire. They are only good for deep mud and totally useless in rocks.
