I just put a 8.8 rear end in my jeep and im having some brake issues.i have four wheel disc now and i blead my brakes and they still are not good. They catch all the way at the floor and will not pump up good. Do i need to change my master cylinder or my proportion valve? Please help sorry about the all caps my bad new at this lol.
make sure that you have the calipers mounted on the correct side. The bleeder screw should be at the top of the caliper when installed correctly. Seen that quite a few times where people had them backwards and you can't force the air out the bottom. Air pocket just chills in the top of the caliper. Hope this helped!

from what i understand about this swap..doing mine in a few weeks(already have the parts) you need to remove the rear brake flow limiter inside the PV...the stock rear drums operated at much lower pressure than the new disk brakes require.
Also..if you are running a 87 cherokee? you could upgrade to a dual diaphram brake booster and MC. Search for write ups on that one....i think the 95-97 had a dual diaprham that will bolt in with no mod to the brake rod.(i also have one im putting in this week..see build in sig)
