Default Dana 30 Axle swaps

New to the modification game. I am used to staying pretty much stock. Got a dana 30 that I pulled out and and replacing it with a dana 30 but the one I am using to replace it has the vacuum engage setup, which I am not a fan of.

Can I swap out the right axle with the one that's in this split to eliminate having the forks and vacuum setup? I would rather not stack washers or use a hose clamp to engage this. If I can just plug in the solid axle from the old dana 30 that would be grand.

Swap both sides. The shafts are likely stronger.

is it that simple? Just swap the axles? If so that is awesome....I will seal up the vacuum debacle and have the setup I am after.

Why didn't you just swap one without the vacuum thing? Like the whole axle not just the shafts. Because didn't you say this replaced your old one?
