ok so i have alifted jeep xj it as a 4.5 lift and running 31" tires anyways i do not have the slip yoke elimanater kit yet so idk if that was the reason or just the fact that the jeep has over 300,000 km on it :P, anyways the drive shaftbroke and yoke busted when i went to my lake, when i got back my dad and i went and looked under to see whats goin on turns out the hole diff area shifted up??... if this has happend to anyone let me know what u did, is axle swap the only way to fix this?.... and yes im still a noob at this so i still dont really know how to use this

Lower the axle away from the leaf springs and see if you broke the head off the locating pin.

Axle ubolts were probably loose, axle twisted, breaking the yoke and shaft. Axle may be fine, not that this wouldn't be a good excuse to upgrade.

Just the pumpkin twisted up? As in it spun on the tubes? If so then an axle swap is the easiest way. Pretty hard to spin it back down.
