Bahaha spools!? Shoot, I drive my projects. I ain't got money for a tow rig and trailer.

As for that guy at JV, that's a steal. But pass drop. Don't really wanna scrap a 241 or atlas that's already setup for driver drop.

I picked up ultra4 RJ60s for $6k last year, just missing brakes. That was a steal and a half.

just proving my point that deals are out there, I'd definitely pay 6k for a pair of rock jocks now that's worth it

Oh yea, there is always deals. Just depends on how picky you are when it comes to what you want. Anything is doable with enough time and talent.

See what you have at your disposal.
1. Find out how much it would be to regear/upgrade your current axles
2. Find out how much a set of 44s will run you, and the upgrade cost of those would be
3. Think hard about your wheeling style.

In my case, I found a set of 44's at a reasonable cost so I got them. I had stock hpd30 and 29spl8.25 before, but it would have cost me what I paid for the 44s to upgrade them so I just got the new axles.

I see these and laugh a little I have ran full spools on my street/strip cars for a long time even the wagon. Only time it can be harry is if I get caught out in the summer in a rain shower, then you really test your driving skills and slow down. Its doable if a person uses there head and 4wd should not be used on the highway for sure.

Many of these threads and Jeeps I see online run close to the price of an entry level race car, most of them very little Jeep left on them. It all comes down to the money angle just like race cars "How Fast Do You Want To Go?)

I love these all out build threads and what they entail, for some not knowing all the very small details like myself and then look at the cost.

Im not bashing spools. I just don't like driving with them on the street, not the highway cause that's straight lines. Plus, I like selectable so I can try every obstacle open first, then lock if needed. Lockers take the fun out of crawling. Keyword, crawling. 1st-2nd gear in 4lo. There are cars to go fast in, but that's not what I build Jeeps and Nissans for. Low and slow is my thing.

I like to keep my tires at 30psi when I first get onto the trail. it just keeps things more challenging when wheeling. then when I finally get to an obstacle I can't make is when I air down and try it again. then I air back up and keep going

Totally dude. I'm surprised you keep them so low though. Mine are at 35-40 all day until I hit a rock I can't get up. My pontoons are only good for water
