Default D35 difference ?

I've got 2 x D35s sitting here -# 1 is from a '94 non ABS.
# 2 is from a '96 ABS model

#1 has USA alloy driveshafts
#2 has an E-locker

Does anyone know if I can swap these parts into either housing to make a fruitier D35, or am I just going to have headaches and dramas ?
I'm going to start stripping them down on the weekend and would love to know before I try to put 1 back together. Thanks

They should swap. But I would get rid of them before they break.

Just remember, 2 working are worth more than a broken one with some spare parts.

Sell the axles or dismantle and sell the locker and shafts. Guys will say go 8.8, but don't overlook the 29 spline 8.25 depending on your tire size.

Thanks guys , I love the idea of getting a BEEF diff but they are rare as rocking horse **** ( or an honest politician ) here in Perth. I've been looking for years and its cheaper to get a custom ford 9 inch made up ie- costs more than my jeep is worth.
Also I have these parts on hand at no cost.

Oh and I ran 35s on diff#1 that destroyed the Detroit no-slip locker. I replaced it with a stock LSD diff and had no probs for 2 years.
The E-locker has come from my new jeep running 31s and I'm pretty sure it's just the left bearing collapsed.
