I'm looking to build a new crossmember for my upcoming full width and radius arm swap. I don't have a SYE so I'd like to incorporate a TC drop into the build (not too worried about belly clearance, I have big tires). Has anybody built one similar to this?

You are going full width but keeping the stock shaft? Just do a sye, and make the cross member out of 1/4" maybe a little much but there would be no worries

I understand how a SYE is the "right" thing to do, but I'm at almost 6" of lift right now and dont need one, and I'll be dropping the lift to about 4" on the full widths so I don't see the purpose of another $200 + spent on it

I've never ran one either, i agree with you..i ran 6" and now a 3" and have never had vibes or anything..but people will argue it all day long.
strength, clearance, carry one spare shaft, fluid doesnt pour out when you lose a shaft, u joints wont bind when unloaded, you can tilt the pinion angle up for more clearance, and you may be surprised how much smoother it will ride.
And to answer your question, it would be super easy to do what you are describing. Just measure, cut and weld.
