Paul, at 5.5" of lift you have the potential to pull the stock sway bar down far enough that it will stop the last couple of inches of downward travel. If you have a stock suspension, of course the stock is good enough. The Curie bar is just a way to have some stability and not have to disconnect the sway bar when wheeling the rocks.

 

It also helps prevent 'unloading' if you have radius arms. I love mine, but I was able to get it at cost instead of MSRP.

 

The Antirock forces the rear suspension to do more work thereby balancing the front and the stiffer leaves out back.
