Hey guys my front sway bar is being a pain so I was thinking about disconnecting it until I just make quick disconnects for it. I've already asked my girlfriends dad about the law on sway bars ( Hes a cop) and he said as long as you can keep it on the road it's fine. But I was wondering do you really get that much more flex with it off?

You get quite a bit more flex with it removed. There's a ton of people that will tell you not to run without a front swaybar on the road because it reduces the reaction time of the vehicle and increases body roll especially in emergency maneuvers. This is true to a degree but I ran without one for several months and found it more predictable than having one on. I say take it off and drive around for a while and see if you will be able to handle it properly. Maybe even go to a big empty parking lot to mess around in. It will pull to the side more on acceleration and braking as well.

I also run without a sway bar. I actually sent it to the scrap yard.
Just make sure you get used to the ride, as it WILL be different.

Youll never notice the rear is gone as far as driving manners, the front will create more body roll but I dont mind it....its easy to get used to.

What's this sway bar you speak of? If you don't drive like a jackass you'll be fine. Find a dirt road/parking lot and get a feel for how it handles, I actually enjoy the body roll.
