Default Cry for Help

Ok I have tried reading many of the threads but semi confused and running out of time. Here's the long jist. I bought some new tires and they don't fit of course 31x10.5r15s. I can't move my truck till lift is installed.

I was going to get the RC series II because let's be honest Im 16 and broke and work at HEB and won't have money for a RE kit for a while. I was going to get the series II because of the control arms.

Here are my 2 dilemmas

1.) My rear leaf springs look toast. I mean the bend downwards at the connections and the whole leaf bows upwards at the rear diff. My dad stands on back door ledge and the truck sinks 3".

2.) Everyone talks about building a lift kit in pieces rather than a whole. Im unsure what parts to get and what Manufacturers work with each other.

I would love suggestions. Id rather not ask someone else to build my lift kit design but Im without a vehicle until its installed. I've only got about $400 to spend and not sure if I should just go RC 3.5" series II or if someone could help me build better.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Go buy yourself some new 3" leaf springs, a set of 3" RE coil springs and a track bar.

That's all you'll need right off the bat and that should be right around $400 bucks.

Find lightly used stuff.

Or buy 3" leaf springs, a track bar and some 3" spacers up front for a temporary fix. Buy coil springs when you can save more money.

I know that'd be less than $400.

This. Trim those fenders up, bumpstop accordingly, save that $400 for a better kit in the near future.

Post up a pic of how it sits currently. You might get away with just removing the flares for now and adjusting bumpstops. You could also hit the junkyard and find some leaves from an S10 or blazer and make a bastard pack (search)

Will take a pic and post it once I get home at school rite now.

Front tires were hitting on something in the back of the wheel well ( it was dark and didnt get a good look last night or this morning ).

Trying to find some 3" lift rear springs but not having much luck.

Ok tried searching on Forums and from Google mentioning "Bastard Packs' the results are HUGE including any thread with the work "Bastard" or "Pack" in it. Anyone have a more specific keyword or a thread they could link me to read up on this?

Buy a budget boost lift up front. 2 or 3" coil spacers(that sit on top of your coils). New leafs to match in the rear.

Problem solved! Money saved.

Also check out Zone Offroad kits. They have a few here that are very reasonably priced.

Pretty good explanation on bastard pack and you could probably do it for 100 bucks if you had to buy the spring packs.
