Cruise control modification
I have an old 92 XJ with cruise control on the stalk. I recently acquired a 95 XJ without cruise control. The plug for the servo and the vacuum hookup are in the 95 XJ engine compartment just like the 92. The throttle body hookup is also there. The only difference with the 95 is the cc switch goes in the steering wheel. Does anyone know if I install the servo, etc from the 92 and use the CC stalk from the 92 in the 95 if it will work without getting a 95 clockspring and switch? Both have automatic trans. and 4 liters.
Would need to know how the wires on the stalk would match with the 95 wires... colors, etc... and where under the dash.
I could mount the 92 CC stalk somewhere on the column.
Probably need a different brake switch also.
Anyone tried this?
