She makes a very valid point! I do all the cleaning on my Jeep so I get to decide what it gets (bad idea so far). My other half just gets to sit in the passengers seat and help make it dirty. She likes putting her feet up on the dash for some reason and always leaves foot prints and dirt! She also spilled coffee on the grey section of the seat, couldnt have done it on the black part. And yes, I got to clean it up. And yes the seat is now stained. Maybe all black inside is the way to go, headliner included.

Sounds like the roles are reversed in your situation. I am the messy one who considers every vehicle to be just a tool/work truck and make the mess. While my wife chases around behind me trying to wash my socks before I have even taken them off! lol

Since we've wandered into the subject of weave patterns...
Has anybody mentioned wicker yet? Seems like it would achieve the same feel as the wood paneling that started this thread, but at a lower weight. There's a million different patterns of wicker fabric available, some of them very similar to carbon fiber without being as douchey.

I'll be honest, I'm not opposed to themed vehicles. I think they're kinda cool and give some character to a vehicle that has a tendency to get stuck in a "cookie cutter" appearance. Now, when those builds end up getting really ridiculous and look like there weren't a lot of time and perfection put into them, then it's a bit off-putting.
