This is not a direct bolt on for 84-86 since they use a center latch. I find that one a waste of money. The scoop isn't functional and the scoop is too far forward. I have a spare hood, just need the scoop.

Fiberglass hood on an off road XJ with non functional cowl easy to break and no help with heat.

it says it's functional, but it doesn't look like it from the pics. I figured the fiberglass wouldn't last either. I guess it would be more for aesthetics

The underside pics show a flat hood. Not going to spend almost $500 just to have to cut it up. The proportions are not right either.

It's probably a fire hazard. I could open an outdoor grill on the hood of my ride after driving it for like 5 minutes.
