about to build 2nd 4.6 stroker...using comp cam 68-232-4 with the cloyes double roller timing chain setup 9-3127. Options allow advance/retard 2 deg or stock 0 degree setting. last one I built was set to 0 degree offset..no issues Cloyes states advancing the cam timing increases low end torque ....since this motor never sees more than 3500 has anyone set this cam to 2 deg advance...what results...thanks

I did advance the cam in V8's I put together and it did bring down thetorque band , I don't see why it would not work in a jeep motor , and any way you can advance tour cam and after the motor get some miles on it the chain will stretch and you will be right back at 0 .
