I just bought a 88’ Jeep Cherokee Laredo that is missing a filter so I will be putting a cowl or cold air intake in. But I’ve came across the fact that most companies don’t go older than 91’. Do I have options to buy from a website and any suggestions? Or will I need to piece together a kit?
I found a thread from 2012 about a cowl intake they pieced together, but there were mixed feelings on it.
Any advice is great, I’m new to building/modifying. I do have help from my husband who has lots of experience but I’m trying to do research myself

If this is your daily driver, I would HIGHLY recommend NOT installing a cowl intake system.
I wish that there would have been another way of doing things as I have the Trail Head system, and it is WAY TO LOUD!
Not good for a daily, nor a road trip Jeep.
