If you look at the coil where it gets smaller at the top it looks like the hole is off center. The good side the spring sits one way and on the bad side it sits 180 degrees off. Can you rotate the bad side spring 180 degrees?

thanks for the input. i am going to pull it into my buddies shop where its not cold and on gravel and take some measurements and figure this out. i will see what i come up with. let yall know what happens

If the spring is properly made, the top coil, which is smaller, should be centred relative to the larger diameterof the rest of the coil. Sometimes manufacturers or spring shops get lazy and just bend the coil enough so that the top coil is the correct diameter and not worry about the location.

You could try rotating the spring so that it is oriented in such a way that eliminates the interference but note that the coil is indexed. There should be a depression in the bottom mount that the end of the bottom coil is supposed to fit into. Also, the location of the coil retaining clip is something to consider: Rotating the coil to alleviate the interference issue might cause issues with how the bottom coil sits and could prevent the coil retaining clip from fitting properly.

 

Any updates on your problem OP? I have the same exact issue, with the same exact lift. Also, when I'm in reverse and I hit the brakes, the LCA's actually move back and forth with the axle twisting a bit. I can't figure it out.

 

The LCA would be moving all the time check your bushings and check the bolts that bolt them up, make sure they are torqued correctly.

 

Everything is torqued and literally brand new. I double checked the lengths on the arms. The frame side with the adjuster sleeve is where I see it move back and forth.

 

Ok usually after running it for about a week it's a good idea to re torque everything. Did you or somebody else install it?

 

Trust me, Ive just near taken it all apart twice now and re checked everything. I did the lift myself. I'm wondering if I need to lengthen my LCA's to move the axle forward.
