clutch question

thats because my clutch got way too hot and burnt up
yeah it was completely my fault I pushed it too hard
never the less, I want another 5spd.
but do people stay away from 5spd for that reason?
or is it just more of a challenge on the trail?
how can I make my next clutch last longer?
