what kind of locker? Most lockers will ratchet or click when turning. It's the sound of the locker teeth skipping over each other when it's not locked up. The insert lockers tend to be more pronounced.

My Aussie locker is loud. Sharper I turn the louder it is. I've read this is normal.

Sounds normal to me. I have Aussie lockers in both the front and rear and the front one is pretty quiet unless I make a U turn but the rear one is super loud pretty much all the time. If you have a lunchbox locker these sounds are normal.

Truetrac shouldn't be making any noise and it's technically not a locker but a LSD. Aussie on the other hand can be quite noisy. Lunchbox lockers tend to be noisy, no slip is the exception.

I installed an eaton e locker in the front on my dana 30 . It now makes a clicking noise when even slightly turning . You can only here it going slow in parking lots . Its not binding and its open . Is this normal for an e locker though ? Was gona ask 4 wheel parts where i bought it but thell probly say i installed it wrong. The gear pattern and back lash are perfict. I thought mabe it was binding my chromally axel shaft u joints. Havent found much till i seen your posts thanks alot. I hope this is normal
