i have a 1994 xj with the chrysler 8.25, i swaped axles from a different xj i was hoping it was a 29 spline but took one of the shafts out and it is a 27, im going to order a lock right locker for it just seeing who has one with a locker and how it does, i have 33x12.50

 

Richmond lockrite i have not had any problems with mine what so ever well worth my money.

yes 97 29 spline even bought my lunchbox used got new spring kit from summit racing took about a hour to install and never looked back it made a big difference .Took a little getting used to driving with it on road but work great off road .

 

29 spline 8.25 running 40's.

 

Is that what Free is running? 40's on an 8.25?

 

38s actually on 8.25 was on dana 35 non c clip sold it for 100 bucks got 8.25 drum to drum 132.00 factoy 410s.....

I have a lockrite in my 27 spline 8.25. Was running 33x12.50 cooper stt. Switched to 34x10.50 swamper ltbs. No problems what so ever.
