Hey guys, chopping the top on my 96 country and want to build a wall in the back of the "cab" to separate it and the "bed". To do this, i'm going to throw a rear window in there out of a small truck but haven't decided on anything yet.
So my question is, to the people doing a similar thing, what glass are you guys using? Looking for a sliding window but wasn't sure if it should be from an s-10 or a Ranger, Tacoma, Frontier etc, etc.... Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys!

From what I've seen most guys will use the rear hatch as the "wall". It has the same body lines, shape, and it already had glass.

The rear hatch would be cool to do if it wasnt fiberglass... Thats why I am building a wall there. And even the steel hatch from a newer Cherokee looks out of place because its so much of a bubble (like, square edge, square edge, curved edge. whoa, where'd that come from? thats how i look at it...) Plus i think the thickness of the hatch sticks out so far that it would cut into my bed space, and I HATE the look of even the slightly angled back (but to each, his/her own..)
I have looked through the fab section. All ive seen lately are pictures. And god forbid if you ask a fabrication question in there, your posts will get deleted.... (trust me.... it is gay)
I am even thinking of finding the bed from a pick up truck and cutting out the floor to have the exact corrigated (spelt wrong) floor and lower part of the wall.
So really, Ive done some homework and this is probably my only real question going into this.

Why not try to source the glass out of an MJ?
or better yet, graft the entire back wall of the MJ and the bed onto your XJ. then you'd have yourself a 4-dr MJ
