Exclamation Leaf Spring Extravaganza

Hello all,
Bought a 4.5 lift of CL and the rear springs had the bolts cut off and the bushings need to be replaced.
My question(s) to all of you is
1)What is the best way to remove the bushing?
2)What size are the front and rear bolts?
3) Is one a pivot bolt( assuming back if so)
Thanks in advance guys.

The leaf spring bolts are specific size and can be found on teamcherokee.com for 60$ + shipping for six of them with nuts. I know, chz I did this. I only needed two of them, so I have four if youre interested, instead of having to buy all 6 like I did.

I think the bolts are 9/16th, but if you can't get one that size a 1/2 will work, thats what i used have on mine. I wrapped some teflon tape around to bolt to help with the minor slop This will only work for the shackle bolt that doesn't go into the frame though, I would get dealer bolts for the others. Make sure you get a grade-8 if you get some at a hardware store.

I had to cut both my bolts and replaced both (leaf to shackle bolt I should say) with 9/16 grade 8 and a grade 8 nut. Can't remember the length

I used an air hammer/chisel to remove bushings out of a set of used leafs. The one chisel I used basically cut through the rubber and metal sleeve. So I cut straight through on one spot which loosened it up, then swapped to a flat edge to then hammer the bushing out. Went pretty smoothly.

I just burned mine out last night. Took a saw zaw and cut the metal that was left where the eye ended so not to cut into spring and beat it out with a chisel.
