okay, so ive been looking at two cherry bombs for my 1995 Cherokee SE. i believe the inlet/outlet is 2.25 in? anyway, what will have the deepest, best sound out of these two?

I like the more throatier rumble of the long tube glass pack. I've run that on my 90 for the past 4 years and on several K5's i've owned. even modded a set to fit on a yammy 650 bobber i built.

 

But out of the two links i left, which is better?

 

I'm taking about the 1st link provided. Long (in the picture it's longer than the second link) Tube (it's shaped like a cylinder) Glass Pack (glass pack cherry bomb)

 

I am running the one in the first link, and love it. Have had it for about a year, and notice people turning their heads all the time to see whats making that noise, lol

 

I have the longer type on my YJ, and like it a lot but it's loud.

I have a Cherry Bomb Extreme muffler on my XJ (with cat) and it's a nice sound too. The cat makes it quieter though.

 

Remember that there is no spark arrestor on Cherry Bombs and if a Forest Ranger catches you you can get a big fine.

I just put a custom 2.5" exhaust on my XJ with a 2.5" Downpipe to eliminate the factory kink, 2.5" hi flow cat, 2.5" Magnaflow Magnaflow muffler, and 2.5" Mandrel Bent tailpipe . It sounds really agressive when on the gas, has a nice mellow idle and sounds almost factory when on the hiway with no drone at all

I got all of the parts from Mudfrog on here for $203 shipped Minus the head pipe I had custom made at the local exhaust shop

i got a deal on the glass pack, buddy bought it then changed his mind and sold it to me (unused) $20

dont ask me how it sounds , its in my closet
(when i got my 91 it had (not new but recently new muffler) so im waiting till i rip that off on the trail first lol)

 

do they really look for those things in the states?

 

They will be looking for one if your wheelin and a wildfire starts in that area.

I have the one in the first link and it doesnt sound like the audio they have. It sounds good but drones at freeway speeds. I opted for the glass pack so it wouldnt hang up on rocks etc but Im def gonna be throwing a spark arrestor on it.
